Step Outside the Box
Too many times we try to rely on our own strength, our own power to get us by. What we sometimes fail to realize is that without God, we do not have power. Yes, we have the ability to meagerly crawl through life, but that is not our purpose. God did not put us here to just get by. He put us here to be more than conquerors, to live a full life filled with purpose and meaning.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
There are too many people running the treadmill of life. Running fast, running hard, but still staring at the same blank wall straight ahead. It is time we get out of our comfort zone and take that path that leads us to a place we have never been. To a place we never knew existed.
In order to do that you first need to realize that God is not sitting in your comfort zone waiting on you to take that step. He is standing outside the box of normality asking you to trust in Him. You do not need to know where you are going you just need to have faith in God that He is taking you where you need to be. The journey is not always fun, it’s not always easy, but it is always necessary.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1
That is how we grow, that is how we learn. God has a plan for your life and the likeliness of you having to do things you have never done before is very high. That is when you must trust in God. He knows what you are capable of and lets face it, we are all capable of more than we believe.
The Lord wants you to succeed. He wants you to have all good things. He was faithful unto death, He never quit on you and He never will. Do not quit on Him and do not quit on yourself.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
It is time we step outside of our little box and fulfill the Lord’s purpose for our lives. His purpose for us is far greater than the constraints we put on ourselves. Trust in Him, follow His word, and make a difference.
